Terms & conditions.
Please read these terms before requesting a vehicle detail with Driven to Detail in Cobourg, Ontario.
Version 2026-11-02
01. Appointment requests
Submitting the form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. Service date, scope, final quote, transport arrangements and payment arrangements must be agreed with Driven to Detail before your appointment is confirmed.
02. Detailing services & pricing
Interior Detail starts at $159.99 CAD, Exterior Detail at $89.99 CAD, Winter Interior at $200 CAD, and the Interior + Exterior Bundle is $220 CAD (regularly $250; 12% off) for a sedan/car. Size adjustments are $20 for an SUV, $30 for a truck and $40 for a van. Prices are starting estimates. Vehicle condition, additional work, applicable tax and any vehicle-collection fee will be discussed and agreed before work begins. Winter Interior is interior-only; the Exterior and Interior + Exterior packages include exterior care.
03. No refunds
We do not generally offer discretionary refunds for satisfactorily completed services. This does not affect refunds, cancellation rights or other remedies required by applicable law.
This policy does not remove or limit consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. If you have a concern about the service, raise it with Driven to Detail so it can be reviewed. Any legally required cancellation or refund rights continue to apply.
04. Vehicle collection
Collection by the owner or an employee is available only after we confirm the location, availability, any charge, key handover and return or collection arrangements. A request does not authorize an unarranged pickup. You must be the owner or otherwise authorized to permit the agreed driver to transport the vehicle.
The vehicle must be roadworthy and lawfully able to be driven. Tell us about any mechanical, safety or access issues before collection. We may decline collection if it cannot be carried out safely or as agreed. No insurance coverage or transport service is represented as confirmed until the arrangements have been agreed.
05. Customer drop-off & pickup
If you choose to bring your vehicle, you are responsible for arranging your own ride home after drop-off and a ride back to collect it. We will confirm shop directions, arrival time and expected pickup time. Allow for drying after wet cleaning. Please collect your vehicle at the agreed time.
06. Vehicle condition & belongings
Remove valuables and personal items before service. Disclose existing damage, sensitive materials, stains and other concerns. Treatments and results depend on condition, materials and previous damage; complete stain, salt, pet-hair or odour removal is not guaranteed. We will discuss material limitations before starting. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or duties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
07. Changes, cancellations & payment
Contact driven2detailservices@gmail.com if you need to change or cancel a request. Any payment or deposit requirements will be explained before you agree to them. This website does not collect payments. Applicable cancellation, refund and other consumer rights are preserved.
08. Your information
Contact, address, vehicle and transport information is used to review and carry out your request. See our privacy information. These terms are governed by applicable Ontario and Canadian law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections.
09. Vehicle intake, photos & handover
Before work begins, we may complete a visual condition checklist and take time-stamped photos of the vehicle's exterior, interior and visible pre-existing damage for service quality, customer communication and dispute documentation. We will not use identifiable vehicle or customer images for advertising without separate permission. Please point out known scratches, dents, cracked glass, loose trim, electronics faults, leaks and other existing issues when handing over the keys. We will note visible concerns and discuss unexpected issues before additional work.
At handover, we will record the condition and agreed services, key receipt, approximate fuel level and odometer reading when relevant. Please retrieve your keys and vehicle through the agreed handover process. Any customer concern should be communicated promptly with available photos or details so we can investigate fairly. This request for prompt notice does not shorten any legal limitation period or remove statutory rights.
10. Permission to move or transport a vehicle
For a separately confirmed vehicle collection or return, the customer confirms they are the registered owner or have the owner's authority to permit the agreed service-related driving. Collection is conditional on our confirmation that a qualified, authorized driver and appropriate insurance arrangements are in place. We do not promise pickup or return before confirming those conditions. An authorized driver may operate the vehicle only as reasonably needed for the agreed collection, direct transport, safe positioning and return; no personal use is permitted.
Please disclose restrictions on who may drive the vehicle, aftermarket modifications, warnings, known mechanical defects, low fuel, tires unsuitable for road conditions, and any special starting, parking or locking instructions. We may pause or refuse transport if safety, weather, access, legal or insurance conditions are unsuitable. If collection is unavailable, we will discuss customer drop-off or cancellation before any work begins.
11. Keys, valuables, safety & cleaning limitations
Remove cash, valuables, firearms, medication, confidential papers, child car seats and loose personal items before handing over the vehicle. Tell us if a child seat, dashcam or electronic accessory must not be touched. We do not intentionally disconnect or uninstall accessories or child seats without discussing it with you. We will take reasonable care of vehicles and any property left inside, but are not responsible for undisclosed pre-existing damage or normal wear that was not caused by our work; this is not a waiver of liability for negligence or other non-excludable legal duties.
Please disclose biohazards, needles, bodily fluids, pest infestation, mould, chemical spills, damaged electrical components or other dangerous conditions. We may decline or stop a service where specialized cleaning, protective equipment or safe working conditions are needed. We do not provide mould remediation, mechanical repair, electrical diagnosis, paint correction or a guarantee that all stains, salt, pet hair, smells or scratches can be removed.
12. Scheduling, collection and unexpected delays
Timing and drying estimates are approximate and may change with vehicle condition, weather, access, staffing and material drying time. We will communicate material delays and agree on a revised handover plan. Vehicles are not accepted for unattended or overnight storage unless expressly arranged in advance. Any additional work, material change in price, transport charge or storage arrangement must be agreed before being charged.
13. Concerns, responsibility and legal rights
If damage, loss or a service concern is reported, contact us at driven2detailservices@gmail.com with details and any photos. We will document the concern, investigate and discuss an appropriate response. We are responsible for our legal obligations and do not require customers to waive claims for negligence, damage caused by our staff or rights provided by applicable consumer protection law. Nothing on this website limits any remedy or cancellation right that cannot lawfully be excluded. If any term conflicts with mandatory law, that law applies.
